Elle is a wonderful stylist and a lovely person. I enjoy getting my haircut as much as the conversation. She is kind and creative, and I always walk out feeling beautiful and refreshed. The last time I walked out of the salon, a woman stopped me on the street to ask who cuts my hair and to compliment me on how much the style suits me. That's why I go to Elle!

I have curly hair and ever since I moved to DC three years ago I’d been trying different stylists without much success (many stylists don’t quite hit the mark when it comes to curly hair haircuts). Thank god I found Elle because she actually gets it and she’s super chill. I’ve gone to her twice and each haircut has been great. I’m thrilled to have FINALLY found my go-to stylist.

I would drive cross country to have Elle color and style my hair. She is hair muse and so talented! She understands the chemistry behind coloring hair, values precision, and is a master of her craft. I get compliments from complete strangers on my highlights everywhere I go. Not to mention Elle is an extremely passionate and beautiful bad ass lady. She tolerates me not coming in for many moons and still makes my thin curly hair look fabulous again. She’s been cutting my hair for at least 8 years now and I don’t want anyone else cutting it. She pays attention to where it’s growing and helps me manage concerns with care and consideration.

I have been seeing Elle for over 10 years now and I will never, ever let anyone else touch my fine, thin hair- she knows exactly what to do. I've seen her work on all types of hair and she is a master stylist. Old, young, male, female, color, cut and all the fancy stuff in between; she knows it all. I visited during the pandemic and her space was clean, window open, air purifier, ceiling fan- I was the only client upstairs with her in her space. Pandemic or not- feel confident in your decision!

Elle is both an angel and an artist. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and every time I see the photos, I am grateful anew for her gifts. "Natural bride" is her jam. She was absolutely fastidious with every detail, and the result was beyond what I'd dreamed, truly. I felt gorgeous--just like myself, only better lol. My partner and I eloped during COVID. One day when we have our big wedding celebration, I'll definitely book with Elle again, and she'll be staying for the party too :)

Need I say more? Well, I've been seeing Elle for several years, and I always feel great about myself afterwards. I'm glad she does what she does. I think she is the only stylist that uses scissors on me. Clipper cuts are fine, but I love the attention to detail Elle gives.

Elle is a master when it comes to styling short hair. Mich like Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci were put on this planet to create immortal works of art, Elle was put on this planet to work magic with short hair - it's a divine calling. She is the only stylist in DC to ever give me a truly stylish cut that flatters me and feels comfy, plus she gave me some useful hair product tips, so she knows her stuff.

If Elle’s ever done your hair, then you know. Resisting her chair is like insisting on a perm in 7th grade, you’re being ridiculous. I thought the perm would distract folks from my budding homosexuality. Much like the woman who gave me that perm, I was wrong. Elle doesn’t create distractions, she reveals my boom-boom look; she makes me hot. Do something nice for yourself (and the people that have to look at you). Its boom-boom time. Best cut ever! I have received more complements on my hair. Elle is clearly a seasoned professional who listened to what I wanted and delivered 10 fold. She is the rare stylist who understands hair type, texture, face shape, proportion and style. I had let my hair grow out a bit, like many people I know. I really wanted something fresh and modern to go into fall with and that is exactly what I got. I would recommend Elle to anyone who is looking for the best they have ever had.
